B&B in Alkmaar

'Mooie schone kamer'

'Beautiful B&B in the heart of Amsterdam. The spacious rooms are designed with love, welcoming their guests with just that bit extra. Stunning view of the grachtenhuizen gardens. A must have Amsterdam experience. '

'The room and location were greatMaybe a heads up about the number of stairs for those travelling with luggage Also it would be great if you had a couple of plates and cutlery in addition to the coffee cups and glasses, for when you want to eat something light in the room instead of going out'

'This was a very nice place to stay in the outer Jordaan neighborhood of Amsterdam. The room was very comfortable and clean with in-room amenities such as a Nespresso machine, wi-fi, good local restaurant recommendations, and comfortable floor heating. It was very quiet with a comfortable bed. The full-size bathroom was nicely remodeled with a large shower. The owners had great communication via Whats App and greeted us on arrival. Recommended!'

'We had a great stay and really enjoyed our time at this property. The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described, which made settling in easy. The location was convenient and made it simple to explore the area, and the overall atmosphere felt welcoming and well cared for.Communication with the host was smooth and responsive, which we really appreciated. Everything we needed was provided, and it made for a relaxing, stress-free stay. The only small issue we ran into was that there...

'Roy was an amazing host! Very central location and the view every morning was lovely. Basic amenities but everything you need. Would stay there again!'

'Beautiful clean room, very comfortable bed. Room is small, but great location and just what we needed. Lots of amenities like cold water, coffee, tea, soap, etc. breakfast was good and great coffee. It was a bit difficult to get luggage up and down the stairs, probably not a great stay for those with mobility issues. Host communication was excellent. We were there in a heatwave, so room was warm but I think that’s probably not typical. There was a fan to circulate cool air from outside at night.'

'The layout is difficult to manage. The noise from rooms next to the apa'

'Van alle gemakken voorzien. Netjes en schoon , ideale ligging midden in het centrum. Zeker een aanrader'

'This is a reasonably nice B&B in a residential area not too far from the train station. Host shared check-in information and greeted us when we arrived. Dining and shopping options are nearby. The breakfast is at a little cafe nearby. While we enjoyed the stay the wood floors are a bit creaky and some rugs might help. Also, while the breakfast was very good and plentiful (boiled egg, juice, coffee, yogurt and croissant) as we stayed 5 nights it would be nice if some variation was offered.'

'This hotel is located in a narrow street filled with several bars and restaurants. It is perfect if you would like to go out to eat. But the noise from outside is quite significant . Our room was on the second floor, just above the bars/restaurants and we could not sleep until mid night. The room did not have any air conditioning system, except two fans that one of them was broken. We had to close the windows because of the outside noise, so the room was quite hot. I contacted the management...

'Appartement was niet goed schoongemaakt. Op het toilet zat urine tussen de deksel en het scharnier. Gordijnen waren niet schoon. Zagen slordig uit. De gordijnen bij de slaapkamer hingen los. Kon niet gesloten worden. Rookmelder was niet compleet, zat alleen een dekseltje aan plafond. Televisie was buiten werking. Was nog niet aangepast aan digitaal, vertelde de eigenaar. Heeft hij niet vooraf gemeld. Was vervelend dat we hier zelf achter moesten komen. Hij nam niet op toen we laatste avond belde...

'Sehr schönes sauberes Zimmer, super Lage, super Ausblick.

'Positives: 1. Can’t beat the locations 2. Breakfast was good 3. Room was spacious 4. Beds very comfortable Negatives: 1. They sent the wrong wifi information which required emails to sort out. If I didn’t have a data plan this would have been quite problematic 2. Shower has great water pressure but the water does not get hot enough for it be enjoyed 3. Room was cold and damp and heater in the room did not work'
