Blokhutten in Alden

'Absolutely incredible location with a modern, new ‘cabin’…ice cold A/C!Thayer Lake access on property allowed for kayaking in easy water. There’s a Torch Lake beach about 3 minutes away for swimming etc. We enjoyed The Muffin Tin in Alden! The owners were great to communicate with and work with. The in-unit ductless washer/dryer was a huge plus for me. The water is a little hard so plan accordingly if not used to it. I personally slept on the queen. 'Our stay at this Torch Lake VRBO was fantastic — the property was clean, well-equipped, and easy access to the lake was amazing. We'd definitely book again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.'

'Really nice stay hot tub needs to be leveled but everything else was perfect'

'Overall, nice cabin but it is on a somewhat busy corner. Nice log cabin with plenty of space and a nice fire pit. '

'Cabin was super clean and very well decorated. Landscaping was well maintained and looked beautiful by the lake. Host let us check in early since we were in the area which was very kind of them! Quiet area, a little noise from the main road but nothing crazy or too noticeable. Hot tub was great, perfect temperature and clean. Plenty of blankets and towels for guests. Would absolutely stay here again, short drive to traverse city which is what we came for. Host was also very quick with response...

'Perfect for our family vacation. Roomy, clean, had everything we needed in kitchen. Really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful house.'

'Our family stayed here to celebrate our mom's 75th birthday. The property was beautiful, a very private and comfortable environment. The house, pool, and hot tub were very clean. The rooms worked well for all us, had plenty of pillows and blankets provided , as well as towels for the bathroom and pool. We enjoyed swimming everyday. We had kids from ages 16 - 6 and everyone enjoyed themselves. The surrounding area is so beautiful! As I had questions I wrote to Liz and she was very prompt to...

'Amazing getaway spot that I'd definitely visit again. Excellent view of the lake, all accommodations you could need, easy check in and check out process, open concept living/ dining/ kitchen, with a fully stocked kitchen for cooking, wifi, streaming tv services, perfect size rooms with clean soft queen beds, access to a heated community pool, and the hot tub right outside the door was an exactly way to end the day. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip.'
