'The Rose & Crown in Warwick was delightful! My room faced the market square, and there was wonderful activity throughout the morning and daytime. I could hear the church bells chiming. Walking everywhere was easy. The nights were peaceful. My bathroom and shower were American-friendly. There didn't appear to be air conditioning in my room, which was not needed during my stay, because the evenings were cool. Just be aware of that if there is a preference for air conditioning. 'Such a nice and cosy little hotel. It's like an Inn, which is as said the oldest in the UK. You really breathe the middle ages, so awesome. Breakfast and dinner are super. Most friendly staff. The rooms and bathrooms are a bit small, but that's just fine because that fits such an historic place. Together with the beautiful surroundings of the Cotswolds, highly recommended. '

'We spent 2 nights at the Volunteer Inn in September in a room with shared bathroom. Everything was very clean and comfortable and the staff were all great. The breakfast was good and the pub downstairs is a good spot for a drink. Our room faces the road but was very quiet and did not get any noise from the pub. Given the cost of staying in Chipping Campden, we felt the rate was very reasonable.'
