'OK Lodge is just a name; what is is is a (nicely) extended and converted terraced house opposite a park; so now a few studio flats, with some common areas. Modern and clean but a couple of issues - like oven not even wired in; no table to eat off; and also whilst we booked for 3 adults and was confirmed; they called to say max was 2 adults & a child and would not refund the extra £50 for the 3rd adult (who couldn't now come of course) and I had to go through Expedia to get resolved. 'Nice hotel for a romantic getaway, conveniently located within walking distance to the center of Hastings. We felt very welcome, enjoyed the garden and the view over Hastings, as well as the little extras (warm chocolate with marshmallows in the evening!). Also very good breakfast with a broad range of choices. '

'It was a lovely place to stay in the middle of nowhere. Nice room, though not terribly big, and disappointing that there was only a hand shower over the bath. Apart from that everything lovely, thick towels and dressing gowns, duvet was SO cosy. Fresh coffee and cafetiere in the room - breakfast was amazing.'
