'Such a friendly place. The room was large, with good air con and hot water. It's not luxury but that's not what we expected for the price, and the extra touches such as the homemade soap/shampoo bar and unlimited drunking water were great. The highlights though were how lovely and helpful the staff were, and the breakfast was so good - different hot options every day with always the choice to have toast or waffles as well as fruit and yoghurt. Great value as it's included in the room price.'

'This is the third time coming to the Nar Bis Hotel and I have never been disappointed. SANTOSH and his lovely family are so kind and generous.The hotel is alittle way out of main Pokhara but well worth the walk ,taxi or bus into town as it is so peaceful and with such amazing views over the lake.There are little shops around for necessities and a couple of really chilled out beach bars a few meters away.The rooms are large and very comfortable and each has a balcony with the best views ever.Free...

'Everything was perfect But i requested a birthday cake for my wife and management said they would arrange it but till the day we left. No one responded nor tried to arrange it and front desk didnt even know about it. Communication was horrible.'

Hot water in the shower with lots of pressure. The airport shuttle service was very appreciated. On top of everything, it was exceptionally affordable. A beautiful oasis with flower gardens, pool, fitness center, kayaking, amazing food, great service, right by the lake in the forest where you can watch the sun set while having a drink and smoking shisha. 'We chose this hotel to relax and recover from staying in hospital in Kathmandu after a urinary infection. We had stayed there for two days, during which it rained and hailed a lot and because there is nothing else on walking distance we ate all meals in the hotel’s restaurant. 'Amazing location just a few minutes walk from Lakeside. We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the fact that the street was quiet at night due to not being on the center of the main road.
