Géorgie : Vacances à la mer

Cette tour noire de 20 étages ne paie pas de mine au milieu des gratte ciel mais elle est très bien située en face de la mer et proche du centre. Les chambres sont spacieuses et le lit confortable mais le mobilier d’époque soviétique est à bout de souffle. Si la chambre est orientée vers la mer et dans les étages supérieurs la vue est fantastique. On l’aura bien compris bon rapport qualité prix mais le petit-déjeuner est un désastre. Produits à tendance turque. Pas de sucré et seulement café et thé turque sinon il faut payer un supplément. Bref très bien pour les fauchés ou pour une nuit

So let's get the negative out the way to start. Check-in time is 2 pm. We arrived at 1:30 and our room wasn't ready which was obviously understandable. We left our car in their free parking, our luggage at the desk and went out for a bite to eat. When we came back at 2:10, our luggage was by the desk unattended and not in a back room and our room was still not ready. We had to wait until 2:30 for our room. Was there any form of apology ? Nope ! And to top it off, the floor of the room was still wet when we got there... Now the room itself was awesome. Fully renovated, large, comfy bed, great TV selection, fast and reliable Wi-Fi, a mini-fridge, a large closet and a balcony with view on the Black Sea (as all rooms do). The rest of the hotel also needs to be renovated however. For some reason, breakfast is served late (from our point of view) in a lot of hotels in Georgia : 9 am. This was an issue especially since we wanted an early start to our day. The buffet was so-so with too many (hungry ?) people trying to get their share at once. A note : juice does not equal water + syrup...

One of the worst hotels I have ever seen. The pictures have absolutely nothing to do with reality. It is a very mediocre and extremely outdated hotel — it honestly feels like it dates back to the Soviet era. For information, it seems to be frequented almost exclusively by Russians. The room smelled bad, the carpet was filthy, and the shower had no door. The breakfast was catastrophic. The neighborhood is horrible and very unattractive, far from the city center, near a bridge, with a view from the room overlooking ruins. I strongly do not recommend this hotel; in my opinion, it does not deserve any stars.

everything amazing but Kate at reception left the most sour taste. watching her interact with other customers and being very condescending about the cleaning staff was disgusting. lying to embarrass and no professional service. her lack of brain thought i wouldn’t understand georgian, and she said rude things about me to her colleague right in front of my face. everyone else amazing but simply because of 3 different interactions specifically with Kate and witnessing her interacting with another family on vacation, im sure she isn’t trained or kind or anything that orion wants to represent. will continue to stay at episode hotel as i used to before. do not ever want to see kate again lol
