Péninsule de Gower : Voyage pas cher

Probably this hôtel has seen better days but it is actually well maintained, besides some scratches in the carpets and broken screws. The façade is currently being renovated. It is very well located in Swansea and easy to find It was quite empty so rather calm when we were here. The plus is definetly the extra super friendly and helpful staff. At the front desk and for the breakfast we had a wonderful experience, the people where super friendly and helpful. We had a very nice price so it's a good value deal. Would recommend.

The hotel was nice, but the checkin was quite a pain. I booked via expedia.fr and within a few hours they send le an email since they didnt ubderstood sole french. So i specifically told them i booked a "2 single beds" room. When i arrived with my colleague, they gave us a "1 double bed" room. We went back to the lobby and happily changed the room. Again, it was a "1 double bed" room... So we wemt back and they didnt found another room. So they suggested that one of us sleep on the sofa. I m not sure irs quite professional to propose this to resolve the issue. So we separated the double bed and asked for a second mattress cover and blanket, and they happily gave them to us. They gave us, thats all. So here we are, at 11pm on a Sunday, after a long trip, separating the beds and doing our own beds in the hotel... I m not sure I would call that a good service. Except that, the rest of the stay was enjoyable, but if I book something, I expect to have it and I expect the hotel to resolve the issue in a proper way rather than proposing the sofa or letting the clients do their bed...
