Blokhutten in Kerr Wildlife Management Area

'Really enjoyed this cabin and want to come back. Wish our trip was longer! Communication with property manager was good as well as the visitor guide. Pool and kyacks were fun. The only issue was: we tried to go hiking but the trail was blocked by logs on one side and then large trash on the other. But the hot tub was so nice and peaceful and the cabin was so cute, it was worth it. I'll also recommend to my sister and we'll hopefully come back in the near future! '

'We absolutely loved staying here, it was quiet, clean, had everything we needed and was a great area to still be close to town for food or outings. Our host was amazing as well. When we first checked in the AC was leaking on to the bed and the host got there within 15 minutes and got us a new cabin and the issue was resolved with speed and professionalism. We were very impressed and will definitely stay again if ever back in the area.'

'The setting of this cabin was very peaceful and beautiful. The cabin itself was charming and comfortable. I would use caution with young children, though. The shabby country chic easthetic includes apparently repurposed corrugated metal panels low on the bathroom wall with screw holes that are quite jagged and could easily slice flesh if contacted. Otherwise, the decor is very charming. We had a great time on the walking trail and enjoyed the interesting rocks and wildflowers. This is the kind...

'Absolutely by far the best decision we ever made was to book this cabin. Cabin was clean, hosts met me and showed me around and gave me fresh free range eggs for breakfast. I spent the majority of my time sitting in the rocking chair on the front porch with my dog and enjoying nature and the wildlife. I was sad to have to come home! If traveling the the Mountain Home/Kerrville area, Cowboy's and Angels Retreat is a must stay!'

'Very serene and peaceful area. Cabin was perfect for our needs! Pool was a nice touch on a hot afternoon. Loved feeding the deer and seeing them outside our cabin windows. Will definitely stay there again.'

'No this wasn't a great experience, we had to find the office and locate our keys in the cabin, which was fine. Next we get to our cabin, only one bed, there were two of us both men, the picture showed a loft with a bed above another, we tried to order pizza but they were already closed. Also thought it was odd that there was no TV in the room I understand this is glamping but I still expected more than a small mini fridge and a single queen size bed, one end table and some coat hangers'
