The listing advertises the property as being “1 minute walk from Zermatt-Matterhorn Ski Paradise” and the Furi ski area, which strongly suggests convenient access for skiing. Based on this description, we booked the property for our family ski trip.However, the actual access to the property was completely different from what was implied in the listing and created a very difficult and unsafe situation for our family.We arrived as a family of five with three children and seven large pieces of luggage, including ski equipment. Because taxis are not able to drop guests at the property, we were forced to walk a very steep uphill path for a long distance while dragging heavy luggage. The path was icy and slippery, and members of our family slipped and fell while trying to carry bags and ski equipment.At no point before the final payment were we informed that:Taxis cannot access the propertyGuests must walk a significant distance uphill with luggageThe route can be icy and unsafe in winterDaily skiing would require walking the same steep path in ski boots while carrying skisHad this been clearly disclosed, we would not have booked this accommodation, especially with children and ski gear.
