'Stayed at Darwin House and the experience was pretty poor. The room I originally booked was already being used by another guest, with her belongings everywhere, so I was moved to Room 1. The phone number provided for help wasn't even in service at the time. 'Me and my colleague stayed at Hunters Lodge for 3 nights in 2 rooms. The furniture is really outdated but it was very clean and the bed was comfy. First the electric switch for my sky light (the only window in the room) was broken and the room was boiling hot. Took a while for someone to come up and take out the ladder to fix it (they had to reset the system). The socket next to my bed didn't work as I wanted to charge my phone during the night. 'Owner was super nice and very accommodating with our change of schedule (due to train issues). Place was clean. No A/C (that we were aware of), which we opened the window. Unfortunately, it was a Friday night and the people outside were a bit loud for awhile (not the owner’s fault). The only downside was we found out we were only renting a room when we arrived, not the apartment itself. Great location and close to the cruise terminals.'
