'We enjoyed our time at this property. It was clean and everything was as expected and would give it high ratings with one major exception. The dog kennel that is across the street. They let the dogs out around 7am and they don’t stop barking for hours. It went on and on and on and started way too early, especially on the weekend. 'We thoroughly enjoyed our time. Stay Awhile has all the little touches you might need. The bedding was very comfortable, with handsome, high-quality sheets. There are very pretty shutters on the windows that you can close or open to let the light in. The couch is very cozy with a nice TV there. The kitchen has a spacious refrigerator, and the icemaker works great. It's a full kitchen with all you need to prepare food, and there is an island, which is also nice to prep on. 'When we arrived, we found mouse droppings on the bed, in the bathroom & dining room area. We had to wash the bedding and clean up. (So much for the cleaning fee, they charge!) Very disappointed in what our once favorite place to stay, has become. The past 2 times we've stayed, we've been dissatisfied with the cleanliness, which we brought to Gaustehaus Schmidt's attention. Decided to try again. Strike three, they're out. We'll have to search for another place, next time.'
