At the actual cabin the cell service switch’s from 1 bar to SOS, but if you absolutely need to do something cell phone related then you can get service about 4 minutes down the road in the Thriftway parking lot. 'Such a sweet and cozy cabin! Rustic feeling with the Sandy River close by (for those who enjoy a riverine soundtrack), but with some luxuries that mean you are definitely not roughing it. The barrel sauna was perfect on a rainy day. Good hiking is nearby. The cabin was very well-outfitted for cooking, but there are places near enough in either direction on 26 if you don't want to cook. '

'The tiny house was perfect for a bicycle ride from Vernonia to Banks and back on the fully paved rails-to-trails. The host communicated early on that the tiny house is 18 miles from the Banks-Vernonia trail. We transported our bikes on the car rack to Vernonia Lake trailhead, a less busy trailhead than the Banks Trailhead. After the ride, we enjoyed an ice-cream cone at the trailhead and tasty gyros, hummus, Mediterranean salad and naan at the Blue House Cafe.The tiny house had the essential...

'Wow! This location has a sweet (not so) secret swimming hole. It's not far from the natural hot springs, and it has a ton of opportunities for water sports (rafting, swimming, etc.). The glamping tents are clean, have great coffee, electricity, and even have a heater/cooling system. We stayed with our grown sons and there was plenty of room for everyone.'

'Location was wonderful! Listened to geese and tree frogs. Cabin was adorable! Owner was super helpful offering to build a fire for my arrival. Wish I could have extended my stay. '
