Perfect getaway location
We booked this location last minute when my husband and I decided to spend a few days hiking the area. This was the perfect place to stay, the hot tub was perfect for two and already warmed for us. The home was large enough to have separation between the bedroom and living area, but still very cozy. we cooked dinner and the kitchen had the few basics we needed. The bed was comfortable with clean, very soft sheets and all the towels for the bathroom and hot tub were provided. There was another little cottage next door, but we had plenty of privacy. Overall we very much enjoyed staying here.

Great getaway
My wife and I spent 4 nights for our anniversary. We were looking for the country feel, splice and quiet. We got that. Rick’s oasis was perfect. Very clean, modern and relaxing. The hot tub was hot, clean and gave us an incredible view of the stars. Bed was fantastic. We couldn’t be more pleased with our stay. Thank you Rick for your wonderful hospitality.

Great stay outside Chatt!
Great stay and very unique! Hot tub left a little to be desired with a backpad missing, only jets on one seat, and the temp not going up past 101. Otherwise, a lovely stay!

AMAZING
This is one of the coolest places to stay! Legit flintstones house!! Private hot tub, a roof top deck with furniture made of concrete looks so cool!! An amazing view of lookout mountain, short drive to Chattanooga and rock city, ruby falls. We had a great time. The bed is comfy, pillows are nice, couch is comfy, kitchen has everything you need to cook. The photos don’t show but there is another little flinstone house below this one but you still have all of your privacy. We would stay here again!! They’re also in the midst of making another really cool looking round hobbit like house/cave and we will definitely come back to stay in it! Can’t beat the views and privacy and being so close to everything you want to go and do!

Unique and Cozy, Great Views!
Refreshing time in nature, the roof top "stone couch" has excellent views of the mountain and the view from the fire pit was a nice bonus. We enjoyed the cave like coziness, eclectic furniture and restful atmosphere. The kitchen is limited in cookware and serving ware so come prepared if you plan to get elaborate on your cooking. No TV was actually a blessing for our time away.

Bedrock is a unique property with a lovely mountain side setting. It offers a very quiet and relaxing place for that little getaway. The cottage could use some updating in my opinion, and the dishes replaced because some have large chips out of them. Hot tub is a nice feature but could be more private since there are 2 other cottages at the location. The best feature is the roof top “lounge” where you can sit and enjoy the views and watch the hang gliders come down from the mountain. Overall we had a lovely stay.

Anniversary getaway
We were on a 10 day road trip and wanted to stay at unique places. This topped all our stays! The roof top seating was our favorite. The view was magnificent, the peace it gave you was like no other. We stayed there for hours. There was a fire pit and hot tub we wished we could of enjoyed but it was too hot outside for either, but no complaints we were happy on the roof top. The inside was clean and welcoming. Hands down our favorite stay! We reached out to property owner for a quick question and they answered immediately. We would recommend staying here, trust us you will enjoy it!! Our only regret is that we only booked it for 1 night!

Rustic Getaway
Rented for a special weekend birthday celebration getaway. Unique rustic rental with beautiful views and close to Chattanooga. First the great during weekend stay - Location, lots wood and stone, quiet, basic necessities provided, rooftop was utterly amazing and views absolutely gorgeous. Host permitted earlier check-in by a few hours which was very, very much appreciated!! The hosts live on property as well and stopped over. Rick was gracious especially as we were orig. larger group of 4 but due to a personal family medical emergency, count reduced to 2. Did not have opportunity to use hot tub, sofa bed, or any of the kitchen appliances with packed weekend activities planned in the surrounding areas, but do not doubt in working order. However, not as picturesque as anticipated! A good professional cleaning and increased pest control services needed. Encountered cobwebs, spiders and other critters, including a wood scorpion while in the shower!! The AC definitely needs work as still limping along so extremely thankful for the overhead ceiling fan above the bed. There is a leak in the shower allowing water to seep under the bedroom wall. Keyed door lock did not work but deadbolt did engage when occupied so adjusted by not keeping any valuables while not in rental. Any guest count over two incurs addit’l fee. The property is in process of being supplemented with adjacent new construction and hopeful this cozy property will be renovated once new cottage complete.

Peaceful Get Away!
We had such a wonderful time that we didn't want to leave. Everything was just as the pictures online and better. The views were amazing on the rooftop and hot tub was great as well. My husband and I came for a quick getaway and to see Chattanooga area. This was a perfect location about 20-30 minute drive from Lookout mountain activities and Chickamauga and Chattanooga Civil War Battlefield. We will hopefully be back soon to explore Cloudland area!

Perfect Getaway
This Rock Cabin was the perfect weekend getaway for my wife and I to celebrate a belated Valentine’s Day together! The check in and check out process was extremely easy with Mr. Rick. It was a very homey and relaxing environment! The cabin is absolutely beautiful to include it’s views! The local BBQ restaurant that is a very short drive away from the cabin was our dinner choice and it was absolutely incredible! We will most certainly look forward to returning to the Bedrock!!

Magical hideaway
This lovely little gem was perfect for an overnight half way from beach to home for us. Super comfy. Love the hot tub under the stars. The bathroom is a work of art. Excellent water pressure in the shower. Highly recommend!

Overall: My husband and I went with my girlfriend and her guy. The entire vibes was super relaxed and refreshing. I loved the bedrock vibe and record player. The seclusion of the house made it perfect! I would go back so long as I got dibs on the bed ! Because I think good reviews include pros and cons here’s mine : What we loved: 1)What a great secluded getaway.. location was great! 2)It was a nice surprise for a overnight quiet stay. 3)The host was great 4)The house was clean and spacious. 5)The rooftop and hot tub were amazing! 6) The whole vibe just relaxes you. Changes and/or Suggestions: 1)The listing did not specify that there was no closed bedrooms, so maybe update that in the listing details. 2)The pullout bed wasn’t the best because the mattress was so thin that the bar was completely prominent and protruded through the mattress. Very uncomfortable. 3) The Wi-Fi password wasn’t posted or given prior to check in. Even though some of us were able to get signal, some did not and it would have been nice to have known it prior to checking in.

The house was really cool but even better was the outdoor experience. The rooftop patio and firepit both have extraordinary views of the mountain. The hot tub under the stars was so relaxing and ended the day perfectly. Highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxing experience.

Beautiful views & quaint house!
My husband and I stayed the weekend before Christmas for a quick getaway. The house is so cute & unique! No TV We loved the record player/radio hooked to Alexa so we could listen to music and enjoy dinner together. The roof is awesome and is a must see for the views. We loved the hot tub and the most comfortable bed ever. The host, Rick, was so helpful & kind. We will definitely be back!

It had every amenity necessary for a relaxing stay. Enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets from the rooftop and relaxed under the stars in the two person hot tub. Only complaint was that the fire pit was rusted out and couldn’t be used.

It was such a wonderfully peaceful stay. We had wine on the roof while watching the hang gliders go by. We do plan on coming back for another stay. Unique place. Great hanging out on roof watching hang gliders
Great secluded getaway with my wife. We loved quiet mornings and evenings on the artificial grass roof top on the stone couch and lounge. Hot tub worked well and was perfect for two even in warmer weather after hiking cloudland daily. Hang gliders fly overhead Thursday thru Monday late afternoons landing in the meadow field close by. Place was clean and cozy. Kitchen has newer appliances. Grill is new (July 2022). Bed is comfortable. 15mins to cloudland and Trenton town. Thatcher’s BBQ was excellent for takeout. We would return to Bedrock on a future visit.

This was our 2nd stay and it did not disappoint. The location is just far enough that you feel like you are completely in nature, but close enough to everything downtown! Glad we got to meet the owner Rick. He cplained to us his vision and his ability to create the rock shaped buildings looking as if they were crafted out of the rock. Very nice and peaceful.
