'This hotel is in need of major upgrades. Our room smelled musty and of stale cigarettes. The carpets were dirty and ripped. The window curtains were ripped. The toilet wouldn't flush properly, the sink wouldn't drain. The bed was very uncomfortable. On the plus side, the sheets were clean, and the staff was friendly. We didn't use the pool. Although the price was affordable, I would not recommend the hotel.'

'This was a lovely two bedroom home, very clean, and near the shops in Shipsewana. There was a long enough driveway for 2-3 cars. We sat in the chairs in the front of the house in the evening and watched quite a few buggies with Amish families trot by. They would wave to us which was fun. I would recommend this place to stay.'
