Lodges in Wemyss Bay

'Pete was super friendly and helpful with reorganising rooms for us and then delivering great breakfasts during our 3 night stay.'

'Stunning location overseeing the Bay. The building is superb but badly in need of a full renovation especially the upstairs hallways. The carpets are threadbare & the walls seriously need replastering notwithstanding this the staff were very attentive & efficient. The food was excellent and the place was very clean. All of the above shouldn’t stop you enjoying staying in a stunning victorian hotel. I am sure the owners will eventually get the decor sorted out.'

'We hadden een goedkopere kamer geboekt. Dan zijn m'n verwachtingen heus niet hoog. Maar tapijt in de badkamer sloeg wel alles. Dat is extreem onhygiënisch. Ook was de staat achterstallig, dat het behang van alle kanten los hing en het matras al 20 jaar geleden vervangen had moeten worden. Je lag direct op de veringen die inmiddels ook hun eigen vorm hadden gekregen.'

'Nice hotel for a few nights, breakfast and dinner handy in the restaurant. The decor is starting to show its age, was told a make over is planned.'

'Beautiful hotel, great rooms and a very pleasant and (proactive) helpful staff. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for diner but alternatives were provided. I arrived with a large bike case as I was going to do some bikepacking in the Argyll and it was no problem at all to leave my bike case in the hotel for a week.'

'Expedia does not tell you they don’t answer phone calls from foreign numbers & they have no front desk/ staff on site so only way to communicate is thru Expedia. I couldn’t get continental breakfast because Expedia blocks emails & they couldn’t send me payment link. No food or beverage available on site or within walking distance. Food delivery was lame, cash only & no utensils. Decent shower, bed & wifi'
