Nestled on the serene Corrotoman River, Heron's Landing is a peaceful waterfront retreat just 3 miles from town, tranquility and convenience combined. We are a 30 min drive to the Urbana Oyster Festival and 10 minutes to the Tide's Inn!

This spacious 4-bedroom, 2.5-bath home sleeps 8 on a quiet cove full of wildlife, viewable from the deck, sun room, master bedroom, or Adirondack chair. While there's no direct water access, you'll enjoy river views straight ahead and cove views from the kitchen and dining room. Pet friendly, with a grill on site!
The space
3 bedrooms with queen size bed, one smaller bedroom with 2 trundle beds. Laundry is located in the master en-suite. Ample closets and storage space. A pack and play is available for guests in the closet of the smallest bedroom. We have 2 TVs (one in the living room which has a water view) and one in the den. Our "field house" stores an NBA quality basketball hoop, a pickle ball net (please do not take the paddles home with you) a dart board, and mini Fisher Price table game set.

There is a large front yard, and the main road is extremely quiet, as we are a small cul-de-sac community with little traffic. The backyard has lovely river and coves views, great for wildlife watching. We have binoculars for guests to use, stored in the kitchen shelving.

Our back yard is a frequent path for deer and fox, for this reason we don't have much outside lighting, making it the perfect place to view the stars!

There is a ramp to the front door, and the house is all one level, with the sun room as the exception (one step down).

Guest access
Front door with door code. You will receive check-in instructions the day before.

The neighborhood
Quiet cul-de-sac community. Our next door neighbors are year round. Please don't trespass.

Getting around
We are less than 10 minutes from Irvington, Kilmarnock, and White Stone. There are multiple groceries stores, markets, restaurants, and shops to make your stay convenient. The Walmart in town delivers if you don't want to have to trek out for groceries!

Other things to note
There is a double oven, making this a fantastic spot for holiday get togethers. It's an older model, (but works better than the new oven in my residence). Instructions are in the guest guide (digital) and the welcome book at the property, in case you need assistance. Please remember to turn off when done using.

Unfortunately the old fireplace does not work.
