'Fresh cooked breakfast ready and waiting for us in the dining hall was an exciting experience. Music playing, fresh coffee, nice cozy personal ambiance, food was deliciously flavorful and a few options to chose from. Place is extremely clean, open to tour open spaces, and the history is super cool. Pillows and beds very comfortable and had to ask what brand everything was so I could order for my home. 'We stayed at this property for a quick, unplanned, overnight road trip. We wanted someplace inexpensive but clean. Our room was very clean. The furnishings are basic and included a bed, dresser, microwave, and fridge. There were wall lights on each side of the bed but a shelf on only one side. I would recommend putting one on both sides, especially since the lights had places to charge items. The gentleman at the front desk was polite and we had no problems with check-in. 'Staff and hotel great. There was a domestic dispute (not the hotel's fault) that woke us up and made the trip not so great. Great staff and clean hotel and close to the freeway!'

'Small family-owned B&B, and owner takes the time to get to know you. Rooms are old-fashioned but comfy if you like a no-nonsense stay without bells and whistles. Homemade breakfast is provided in the morning but the portions are pretty small. Pretty easy walk to restaurants and businesses in the downtown area. '
