We booked this for a family trip to celebrate grandson's birthday trip. The property was amazing- (would suggest getting there before dark as the # sign is small and hard to see). The house has everything you would ever need. We enjoyed the hot tub and playing games and just the peaceful mornings. I would definitely book this property again as it is close to Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. If you want peace and quiet, or to venture into Asheville, this is the perfect place. One suggestion would be to bring a small nightlight for for the bathrooms as it gets dark!

The house was amazing and accommodating. The driveway is really steep. There needs to be elevation written down so people can plan accordingly if they have elevation sensitivity.

The house was great and had plenty of room. The rental company is extremely responsive. It was perfect for our weekend trip! Would book again!

beautiful mountain home

The home was beautiful, including the hot tub, fire pit, and screened porch overlooking the creek. Lots of puzzles, board games, and outdoor games as well. It was a wonderful place for a mountain getaway - we would definitely return!

Quiet beauty

We had a fantastic time enjoying the changing leaves in this lovely home. We had everything that we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked, toiletries were plentiful, plenty of towels and paper products. The hot tub was very comfortable temperature and water pressure wise. The house is so quiet and the screened in porch was like a tree house. We highly recommend!

We never spoke to the host. We brought a gift for the host expecting to do so. That's OK, of course.The house was in excellent condition, except that the gas stove malfunctioned twice while we were there, requiring a technician on both occasions so that we could use it. Since it's a mountain house, folks need to understand that the water pressure can be weak, especially if more than one person attempts to shower, or the dishwasher or washing machine is in use. Would have liked to have had a dish drain for handwashing dishes, since you don't want to run the dishwasher constantly.The driveway up to the house is a little precarious. Take caution driving up. There are places where the paving has worn away and your vehicle can skid/slip.Beautiful view, peaceful. We saw wild turkeys. No bears, although there were signs they had been there. We were disappointed to find that a hiking trail nearby was blocked by fallen trees, although I'm sure that was left over damage from the hurricane in early 2025. Would have liked to have had instructions for using the wooden stove central to the living area. There was ample firewood provided and we did make a fire in the firepit outside.Only about 15 min to grocery & restaurants in Weaverville, just far enough into the mountains to feel remote without actually being so. Would most definitely visit again.
