' One of the most unique and memorable hotels we’ve ever stayed at. You walk around without shoes, which immediately sets a calming, authentic Japanese atmosphere. The onsen was wonderful, and the breakfast was hands down the best we’ve ever had—an incredible variety and beautifully prepared. Most importantly, the staff especially in the dining room, was exceptionally friendly and helpful, making our stay truly special. Our kids had a wonderful time. We would absolutely stay here again.'

'Good hotel with convenient proximity to the city center and a giant Aeon Mall. We were able to find lots of good food and shopping options within walking distance. Good breakfast with a large variety of both delicious and delicate Japanese and Western options. It’s also strategically located with access to public transportation for day trips to popular destinations around Kyoto. Would recommend!'
