'The weather played havoc with our Memorial Day weekend plans, but we still managed to have a great time. We ended up spending far more time in the Robin’s Nest than originally planned, so I feel confident in saying it was a comfortable home away from home for us. We made a couple of meals and streamed some movies on the smart TV, but mostly we lounged around when we weren’t out seeing the soggy sights.'

'We had a slight hiccup when checking in, but it was quickly remedied. House was great with lots of living space for our large group to spread out. I would definitely rent again and will if we are in this area again (likely since our daughter lives in the area). Kitchenware was adequate for our needs. Could have used a few more towels. We weren’t able to reach the host near the end of the trip (asking about the towels) but most needs were met by the management company. Had to add one more day...

'This house was a great find! Bedrooms were big and comfortable and the outdoor area was huge and lovely. Thanks for a great stay!'

'This space was very small but perfect for a place to gather when not touring the battlefields of Gettysburg; we really enjoyed using the outside gear like cornhole. The parking space was very generous. I really loved that the space could fit eight people and provided EIGHT places to sit around the table. So many places forget to do that. Was a very quiet place.'

'Spacious and pool table was nice addition Host was very accessible and accommodating'

'Enjoyed our stay at the Rested Rooster. property and house was perfect. Very convenient and comfortable. Host was great. '

'We have claimed this lovely Homestead as our future Home rental when visiting our family in Gettysburg. This enhanced bright farmhouse is a tranquil escape. Fresh, clean and very spacious with a fully stocked kitchen of high end appliances. High quality, comfortable furniture and bedding. Large bathrooms included plenty of thick towels and showering products. Enjoyed morning walks on the private country road. Our little dog was able to frolic this countryside without a leash… she was elated....

'Good experience'

'The house and property were truly wonderful. We were looking for a secluded and quiet place, where we could be closer to nature, and this was the perfect fit. Sitting on the deck enjoying the quiet with our morning coffee while our dogs explored the yard below was so peaceful. The hot tub, sauna, and cold plunge provided much needed recovery after hiking. We were even able to have our grandchildren visit for a family dinner, some games of cornhole, and finished with the host-provided s’mores...
