La Selva Beach Townhome with Direct Beach & Ocean Access

Your backyard is the semiprivate beach and ocean when you’re vacationing at our 3 bedroom, 2 bath townhome that sleeps 8. Relax and enjoy the ocean and breathtaking views and beautiful sunset. The road leading to our home is private and our home is located in a very quiet and safe neighborhood.

We are excited to share with you our home which has been featured on the television show Staycation which films unique vacation rentals all around the world. Staycation broadcasts on the Destination Channel which includes NBC & CBS and has earned 7 emmy awards. Our home named Seaclusion has been selected based on it's unique features making it an excellent destination for families looking for a one of a kind home experience to create special lifelong memories.

All three stories of the house overlook the ocean. The top floor has the main bedroom with a king size bed. The second bedroom has 2 queen size beds. Both bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower. There is a washer and dryer available for our guests to use.

The middle floor has a fully equipped kitchen and a living area with a 42 inch flat screen TV with cable & WiFi and a gas fireplace. The dining area is near the kitchen where you can share meals & visit with each other. The outdoor deck has a gas BBQ and seating. There is also a third bedroom with a double bed & an adjacent bathroom with a shower on this level.

On the lower floor there is a large family room with 3 sofas, a flat screen TV and wall to wall sliding glass doors that provide easy access to the beach. It’s a quiet place to read, relax or watch TV.

There are often sightings of dolphins, whales, seals, pelicans diving for fish & migrating birds. You can enjoy collecting seashells on one of Santa Cruz County’s longest semiprivate beaches and take walks on the sand while enjoying the ocean. Some guests enjoy building a fire & roasting marshmallows on the beach while listening to the waves pound against the shore.

It’s a very special beach home with a real home feeling & original artwork created by the owner. We hope you come & enjoy this magical place with your family and friends!

Everything was pretty much as advertised. I am not sure if we got "lucky" with the weather, but it was perfect weather which made the stay exceptionally nice. The pros of the location included the semi-private beach (i.e. no crowds), the sunsets, well-equipped kitchen, ability to have a fire on the beach, and the responsiveness of the owner.Things to consider if you are thinking of booking include (i) if stairs are hard for members of your party, it could be a challenge and (ii) if you are wanting restaurants/stores within walking distance, this is not necessarily an ideal location. When the largest complaint was that sometimes the waves crashing were a bit loud to sleep when the windows were open ;-), it is a good spot to visit!

Your property was very nice! Cannot beat the location right on the beach with unobstructed ocean views. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets each evening while on the patio. A couple of suggestions to make the property absolutely perfect: better curtains in bedrooms and more middle family room to keep sun out during hot afternoons, bigger fans and bigger throw pillows on couch. Otherwise it was awesome and we’ll be back

We had an amazing stay! Such a peaceful, cozy vibe. The views were incredible, and we had it from 3 different floors. The beach was pristine, and stretched far in either direction. The house itself was clean, and the kitchen was really well stocked. The bathrooms were so spacious, something I personally appreciate. The owners were really responsive to ensure we had a comfortable stay. We drove around to Capitola and Santa Cruz several times during our stay. We will definitely come back.

Lovely stay in La Sevla Beach. Could not have asked for better weather! Space was as described in the listing. Perfect for our group of 6 adults and 2 children. Lots of steps, keep that in mind if you have anyone who might find this challenging. Great location and almost private beach!

Our stay was such fun! My sister and sister-in-law joined me for a sister’s reunion. It was so relaxing. The view from any room is spectacular. A perfect getaway on the ocean

A beautiful place to get away and unwind at the beach. I have stayed in a house like this before when my friend owned one and it brought back such incredible memories. If you love to stroll on the beach with hardly anyone around this is your place to get away and unwind. The house was clean had all the appropriate amenities and was perfect. Can’t wait to book again.

Very nice spot

The location can't be beat. Very roomy inside and nice to have two living areas. It wasn't as clean as we expected for the housekeeping fee and the enormous deposit we had to put down. I probably wouldn't rent again because of the deposit which was kept over a month which means you actually have to pay that amount out to your credit card.

We had a great time! Disappointed that there is no hot tub. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom on second floor needs work. Mold problem. The BBQ, chairs, etc were in great shape. We all really enjoyed our time in such a beautiful place. We will stay here again.
