'This is in a terrible part of town. Property was a mess. No ice machine or any amenities. We were given a coffee machine that had mold in it. We only stayed 1 of the 3 nights of the reservation which made the host angry. He said it was a 5 star hotel and that was charging us for the other 2 nights. I did take out cancellation insurance which made him very unhappy and he hung up on me.'

'The staff was so helpful and very genuine. They made checking in a breeze. I wasn't sure if I needed a few more days and they made the conversation about my lodging needs very easy on me. They helped me figure out exactly what I needed and made it clear that I could just go back up and speak to them if I needed to add more days. The rooms have everything you need and have a very charming touches.'

'Our overall stay was nice! The place was cozy, roomy and clean! Not to far from Fort Drum! Just a few inconveniences during our stay.To get to either one of the bedrooms you have to go through a bathroom. If someone in the bathroom you have to wait to get to the bedroom. The masterbath fan doesnt work and no deoderizer available so then have to wait longer. Masterbath showerhead sprays in all direction but down and the areas that did spray downward you were up against the glass trying to use it...

'The location was very good for Fort Drum if you have business there. The price of $160 a night was a little high for such a small town and being 2-3 star hotel, the elevator is very slow, and the carpets throughout the property are extremely dirty.'

'The hotel was very quaint and comfortable. It is in a quiet area and right on Henderson Bay on Lake Ontario. The water view was beautiful. The surprise was having a bonfire right at the water's edge. The staff was also awesome.'
