'One night stay here after staying at their sister hotel in Raleigh. The property itself is fine but no atmosphere compared to Raleigh. Easy parking, clean and comfortable room. Not much to do within walking distance, except a burger takeaway. We tried to walk to a nearby microbrewery. It should've been a 5 minute walk, but we found it impossible to cross the 6-lane highway in front of the motel so gave up and went back to our room. 'I have been to a lot of hotels all over the world and the Horton is my 3rd favorite! The staff members were all extremely helpful and kind. The breakfast was amazing. The interior design is exquisite, they skimmed on nothing. They are so attentive to the details too, like coffee and snack stations on the upper floors. The rooftop area is really beautiful with spectacular views. Love the Horton!!'
