'We had originally booked the studio apt for Jan 9 to visit an elderly parent - a family emergency came up and we had to move our visit to as soon as possible - the owner kindly allowed us to transfer the booking to an earlier date, the 5th (the day after my distressed call) at the cottage instead so other family members could stay as well. Owner is not local, so apparently did not know that the cottage was not quite prepared for guests- it was clean, but not stocked and had some repairs going...

'Great property for a family WV adventure. Whether you are here for the winter and snow fun or Spring, Summer, Fall adventure, this is a great place. The townhouse has absolutely everything you need for an easy trip. Everything was easy and commuting with the host was so easy. They even checked in the morning of the second day to make sure things were good. Snowshoe is a peaceful mountain in early spring just before Memorial Day, so you may not have many restaurants and shops open but the views...
