« This is a great venue if you wish to be off grid lifestyle. For us it didn’t quite meet our needs as our dog couldn’t manage the staircase & although we thought we had a shower and separate bathroom we only had a bath. Hot water is at a premium here we found & lacking in water pressure. But truly a great venue if you wish to unplug, & chill. One recommendation I would make, to help dogs relax. Is to the make the gardens private with privacy screens. The dog next door was barky & uneasy...

« My room was on the ground floor right next to the entrance and a lounge which I think was for the staff. It was very noisy! The tv was on and someone was talking loudly on their phone - I needed an early night as I wasn’t feeling well. That didn’t happen. As a woman travelling alone I was not comfortable with a ground floor room close to the entrance - I would have liked to open the window, but did not feel secure enough. « This property was in an ideal position for the beach and the host Nigel was great, breakfast was very adequate and offered a good choice of cereals yogurts and bread . Eggs were available to have either scrambled or boiled. Tea coffee and orange juice was readily available. « Staff were very courteous and accommodating, and gave helpful suggestions about the local area. Breakfast was made to order at our chosen time. Unfortunately, I thought the room looked rather tired and I found the bed quite uncomfortable, with hard ridges across the mattress all the way down. The bathroom in our room was OK but quite small.
