'The place is amazing!! If you are looking for a place with a spectacular view with easy access to pools and a beach, this is the place for you. There is a hill to walk, but you can drive to the pools and beach if you want. My son was recovering from a broken leg and was able to walk the hills by the end of our trip.Shopping center is next door with plenty of restaurants to eat at as well. It had everything you could want- a beautiful view from the lanai, cute animals on the property (friendly dog visitors, birds, geckos, honus), a quick 3 minute walk to a gorgeous beach, beach chairs, full kitchen, comfy bed, etc! We were able to play some tennis, but be prepared to pay 100 for 1.5 hours of court time & rentalsWe had friends who stayed at Polo (on the beach), they left early, & offered their place to us. 'Neal and Joe’s peaceful condo was the perfect place for our family of three to stay in during our first trip to Hawaii (and to Maui, of course). We loved the location and the property was incredibly comfortable and had everything we needed. We went snorkeling a lot and also hiked in West Maui and went “up country” to see the rodeo as well and to Haleakala, and it was great to know we’d always get a good night’s sleep after a long and active day. 'We took a chance with Maui and Makena, always having stayed in Princeville and Hapuna Beach. The condo and its location lived up to all our hopes. Impeccably clean, well stocked, location and views cannot be beat. The owners love their home, and it shows. Just what we were looking for. We will for sure return.
