'I had family fly in for my wedding and they stayed at Kristen and Mike’s place and it was AMAZING. First off they both reached out before hand and asked if there was anything they could do to make my family’s stay more comfortable. They also were very clear on the check in process. The home its self was beautiful. Super spacious (felt like it went on forever), and had more than enough beds. The property is amazing with a fire pit and games for outside activities. 'Excellent communication and easy check-in and check-out. The bungalow is tasteful decorated and had everything we needed for a short weekend getaway. Location was great with restaurants, coffee shops, and a small market in walking distance. You can even walk to downtown Carlsbad Village from the place. The minor downside is that it is off of Coast Highway which can be busy and loud so it was not so enjoyable for the outdoor space and keeping windows open at night. I would still consider staying...

'Beautiful location, peaceful and surprisingly very quiet, couldn't hear any traffic from the city below. I loved watching and listening to the visiting hummingbird out by the fire pit. Shower ran out of hot water about 4 minutes in, but if you take a European shower it works fine. Pretty breezy up on the hill during our stay. Loved how close it was to the wineries down the road; we visited a couple of them, felt like we were in Italy. Overall, we would definitely come back to the Hilltop...
