B&B in Vaucluse

'This is a fabulous place with lovely owners. It feels like a quiet oasis. We were there during a heatwave (40 degrees) but inside the rooms felt beautifully cool. We stayed in the museum room which was large, the bed was big and super comfortable. There’s a bath in the room (something my husband really wanted) and I made the assumption that there would be a walk in shower. But there isn’t, instead it’s a hand held shower in the bath so you can feel quite on display showering in the room and I...

'The environment and house is very charming and the hosts try their best to accommodate you. But based on the website, pictures and reviews, we did expect more in regards to comfort and hygiene. We did not feel comfortable using the utensils in the kitchen, had some difficulties with the shower and in general felt like the furniture, bedding, lounge chairs, shower and etc. needed refrechment/an update. '

'This is a delightful bijou hotel with bags of character . Stephan and Isobel were really excellent hosts . They were excellent communicators and spoke English which was lovely because our French is a bit rusty. They served a delicious breakfast and did everything that they could to make our stay comfortable; advising on places to see and booking local restaurants for us.
