'We were very happy with our stay at Hobogite. Lots of thoughtful care from our hosts Rob & Lene to provide everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Much appreciated!! It was extremely peaceful and the garden & grounds were gorgeous. We have booked again for next year which I think says it all. If I might be permitted to make a couple of small constructive criticisms. The key press was awkward to use, especially in the dark. We had eight or nine days of rain & therefore spent more...

'Verblijf in de gite als de streek was heel fijn! Fietsen en wandelen deden ons deugd. Bij aanvang met de grote warmte was het aanwezige zwembad welkom geweest. Gelukkig vonden we aangename zwemplaatsen in de regio. Dank voor het grote welkomspakket en de lieve zorg van de eigenaars!'

'Woning ligt zeer rustig gelegen , 10 minuten met de wagen tot dichtstbijzijnde bakker en een grote supermarkt. Ideale plaats om uit te rusten , weg van de drukte. Uitstekend zwembad. Heel vriendelijke ontvangst. Een aanrader voor wie de rust zoekt. 1,5 uur rijden tot aan de kust met de eilanden, zeker een bezoek waard.'

'Alles wa zoals omschreven. Mooie uitstappennkunnen maken naar ile d'oleron, ile de re, ile d'arz en ile madame. Ook naar la rochelle. De woning ligt zeer centraal om dit alles te bezoeken en dat is het grote pluspunt. Een aanrader!'

'Fiona et Sam nous ont accueillis chaleureusement. Nous avons passé un formidable séjour. Tout est pensé pour le bien-être des hôtes : décoration soignée, literie parfaite au parfum agréable, propreté générale du gite, accessoires et linge disponibles, petites attentions à l'arrivée (confiture, gâteaux, bonbons, savon maison, et plus encore !) La propriété est très bien entretenue, et propose divers espaces pour en profiter tout au long de la journée (et de la soirée) : jardin, piscine privative,...

'Sophie et Paul ont tout fait pour faciliter notre arrivée et notre sejour. Nous avons eu un temps merveilleux, idéal pour profiter du jardin et de la piscine. Nous avons pris tous les repas dehors. Comme l'indiquent d'autres voyageurs, un bémol sur l'insonorisation. Et l'une des chambre double est en mezzanine, sans entree privée ni volets. Très belle région, à découvrir !'

'The house is as stylish and capacious as the booking information suggests! We made full use of the cool indoor spaces and the pool during our stay at the height of a heatwave. Macqueville and the nearby villages are very quiet and we experienced the slightly unreliable hours of the village shop and restaurant. Booking there is essential. Also a special mention for Dave who was very helpful. '

'Belle maison de vacances dans un quartier calme. Accueil agréable où produits du potager et miel local vous attendent. La climatisation offre une solution par temps très chaud. Les vélos apportés peuvent être rangés dans une pièce séparée. La chambre à coucher(accessible par un escalier depuis le salon) a un plafond assez bas (surveillez votre tête) Belle vue sur le jardin magnifiquement paysagé. L'endroit est situé tres bon pour visiter de des villes et les plages. Nous l'avons apprécié.'

'We had a wonderfully peaceful and relaxing fortnight. The gite is spacious, very clean and comfortable with everything you could need - a real home from home. Lovely pool which we used almost every day. Situated in a small hamlet but only a short drive to the nearest shops and plenty of places of interest a little further afield. 'Geweldig genoten van deze gite met vooral twee zeer fijne tuinen waar het goed toeven was. In het ochtendgloren in alle rust bij opgaande zon tussen de fruitbomen de dag beginnen met een kopje thee of koffie is hemels.! Zeer aan te bevelen dus !'
