'What a find! The reviews said that some rooms were a bit tired and the food is good with generous portions.
So I thought I’d take a chance. It was good value especially compared to accommodation in Spain, where I had just been.
The room was excellent - one of the largest rooms that I’ve stayed in. Food really was superb - really well cooked and generous portions. I was able to park my motorbike in a locked compound which has also has a security camera.

'Loved this hotel. Its location is amazing - up in the hills and so tranquil but still only a 10 minute drive from Chaves. The hotel has so many fruit trees and herbs - I was able to pick fresh mint to make mint tea whilst I was there. Will definitely return!'
