'I’ve had a good stay 3 years ago at this property but was pretty disappointed that I didn’t have a microwave in my room this time as I have a son that has dietary restrictions and I bring food from home whenever we travel. I booked this hotel specifically because I knew there would be a microwave. There wasn’t. There was ONE communal microwave a good 5 minute walk to the back of the property and in the laundry room of all places. I was constantly walking back and forth heating my son’s food up...

'The hotel is relatively new and therefore clean and well maintained. However it’s no frills accommodation, the indoor pool, restaurant and exercise room are pretty basic. For the most part the rooms are quiet with some late evening noise in the hallway. Ample outdoor at grade parking and the hotel is just a few blocks from the lake.'

The carpet in our room was noticeably dirty, which made the room feel less clean overall. Since this is a pet-friendly hotel, there was a noticeable pet odour in the room.
