The room was alright, the bed was comfortable and everything was pretty clean. However, there was no one to help us when needed. The woman who welcomed us vanished and was nowhere to be seen again. We had issues with the wifi, which could be resolved fortunately after hours of insisting with the owner on the phone who was away. The jacuzzi was not hot but rather warm. There was no fridge in the room so we couldn't store our food, and not a single table, not even a coffee table. We thought we were going to have a kitchen but that wasn't for the type of cabin we rented, which wasn't very clear from the photos on the advertising. One thing I really didn't appreciate was the owner pressuring us to pay before getting to the property, even though it was supposed to be done when arriving there. He tried to charge my card on file but it didn't work so he asked me to send my card details by message over the phone, which I refused to do because of security reasons. He then told me to transfer the money through an app but he was being very pushy, I even received a warning message that my booking could be cancelled. After I paid, he did not reply anything. I was being polite the whole time but he was clearly not doing his job on the communication side. Overall, we were disappointed by this experience that was below average, especially for the price. I had already stayed in Valle de Guadalupe five times and had never paid so high for one night, and that was by far the worst experience.
