'Good location inbetween Garner, Lost Maples for full slate of exploring and hiking. Everything is as advertised. Didn't need to interact with the host much but I found everything I needed in email and written communciations. I didn't try the wifi, I found my home TMobile Hotspot worked just fine and allowed me to do a little work and stream movies/etc. So Tmobile does work here.'

'I booked 2 days at the Uvalde side of the duplex. It was a spontaneous trip, and I was relieved at how easy it was to book our stay. 'The Whiskey Mountain cabins have been my favorite place to stay in the Leakey, TX area. Ihave stayed several times in different cabins. The cabins are very clean and cozy. It's conveniently located between Leakey and Garner State Park. The hosts are extremely accommodating and responsive to any needs you have.'

'There was a mix-up with the couple renting the other cabin. They arrived first, and was asked if they were the couple with the dog, and they said yes and were let in the cabin. When we arrived they had started unpacking, so we agreed to let them stay on our cabin, and we stayed in there cabin.There was no loft in our cabin, but we had paid for it. We were not going to make it an issue. We did enjoy our stay. Bed and couch very comfortable. Needs more light in kitchen area.'
