'The Utopia River Retreat was just what we needed after 3 nights camping out in Big Bend. The cabin we stayed in (Kickapoo) was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed (cooking utensils, bath towels, linens). The grounds were peaceful and scenic and had a nice swimming pool and volleyball net as well as riverfront access. 'We took a short weekend trip to Utopia. The scenery of the flowing river from our patio was breathtaking. The place was clean and Nancy was responsive. Definitely recommend! My dogs had a great time. We plan to go back. '

'The house is a cute set up. However, the listing does not say it’s across the street from a cemetery and church. The house was not very clean, and items left for guests like wash cloths, trash bags, towels are very limited. In the case of the trash bags & toilet paper the bags are thin and small even in the kitchen and don’t fit the trash can. The toilet paper is one ply. The bed was messy when we checked in. Grass burs on the floor. '
