'We have enjoyed a fantastic 2 night stay, the location was spot on only 2 minutes to Lake Windermere and the ferry landing point. Colin is the perfect host, very attentive, knowledgeable of the area and looked after us well. Breakfast was a lovely; full English in a cosy setting. The room was fine with all amenities. It was our birthdays whilst there and Colin decorated the room, these touches are most appreciated. Definitely recommend 10/10'

'The breakfast was really YUMMY. I had the avocado toast ( amazing) and my husband had the English breakfast( he said it was the best!!). Staff really nice and helpful. 5/5 star Room was beautifully decorated and bathroom was huge and beautiful too. Perfect location to walk village and also hike!!'

'Our stay at the castle was fabulous. The staff were excellent to deal with and the facilities are stunning. The kitchen is well equipped and we were pleasantly surprised to have access to launry facilities. The room was nicely finished and very large. I highly recommend the Muncaster Castle and our only regret was not budgeting enough time to fully enjoy all that is available.'

'Jonathan was very welcoming. The lounge was a nice place to hang out with friends. Our bed was comfortable and the coffee service in the room went above the ordinary. Breakfast was delicious - make sure to order the prunes they’re amazing!'
