They contacted us and asked if we needed anything because they were coming by to drop off firewood and some extra sheets and towels. They had the driveway plowed as soon as it was possible. Tanya was very helpful in organizing a plow so that we could get out even on the worst day of the storm, but the winter mountain roads are as you expect, so we ended up spending nearly all our time in the cabin. The house has everything you need, beds are super comfortable, and there is a lot to do in that area. The hosts graciously helped us when the highway closed down due to high winds. « This is a very cozy cabin in the mountains. There was close to four feet of snow on the deck when we were there during March for Spring Break. It is pet friendly (with a small fee) which was a plus for us! The rug in front of the fireplace had not been vacuumed when we arrived and there were other similar cleaniness concerns, but nothing huge. It is a cabin the mountains!
