« My family stayed here for a short weekend. Upon arrival it looked like it had been cleaned however there was hair in both showers, an odd smell in the living room and the rug in the living room looked like it had never been vacuumed. While the cleanliness was off putting, the comfort was worse. The couch was also not clean and the beds were broken, lopsided and extremely uncomfortable. This place needs a one time deep clean, new caulk where there is mold, and new beds/couch and it would be fine....

« The hostess answered all my questions promptly. The house is located in a very calm and pretty location. Home was comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen, plenty of towels, sheets, and pillows. We enjoyed the wide selection of games and old movies/videos which we very much enjoyed. »

« The house was not clean by basic standards. The garage smelled like smoke when we arrived and opened the door. We found an extinguished cigarette poised on the washer that had burned down and a pile of unwashed bedding was on the ground under a very dirty sink. Inside, the fridge was filthy, clean and dirty dishes were in the dishwasher, the coffee pot was really gross and there were 21 nails laying on the stairs. But the worst was the stove cooktop covered in thick, visible grease. The location...

« We had a wonderful time. The house is colorful and filled with whimsical art, which we enjoyed. Very convenient to the town of Murphys, only about 2 miles away. We would definitely stay there again. We would have loved to spend time on the back patio. Unfortunately for us, the week we chose was rainy off and on. Access was easy compared to other experiences we have had. Owner very amicable. »

« The outside patio and relaxing down by the creek was enjoyable. Park in front of the cottage, plenty of parking. The kitchen was well equipped. The bed was so so comfortable. »
