This means a new fridge and also construction materials around the property (no fenced in yard for pets, plus empty bottles/gum wads, etc around construction area). « My husband and I stayed with our pups and really enjoyed this property! It's super close to cobble trailhead so we could walk there, around the lake or hike close by. We loved riding the bikes around the property or into town. Lots of options to eat close by. »

The house is cozy and the views of Saranac Lake from the living room windows provide endless entertainment, for even the littlest guest (our 10 month old). We appreciated the hot tub for soaking after climbing a 46er, walking to the local farmers market, paddle boarding and fishing. »

« It was cold during our stay and being right on top of the water there was a very large temperature gradient from the floor to ceiling. We had an infant sleeping in a pack n play on the floor and so it was necessary to blow a fan and move the air. The temp at the floor on our baby monitor was reading 61 while the heat in the room was set to 77. So be aware if you have an infant. Additionally the floor was bowing and popping up in many places. Likely due to extreme temperature swings or humidity....

« We had some events in the area, so we decided to book a lake-front property to enjoy some quiet, Fall-season time. The place didn't disappoint. By mid-October, this area is past the fall-foliage season and boat traffic is at a minimum. This listing is accurate. The place is quiet. The host is very responsive. Enjoy! »
