This family-oriented mountain home was thoughtfully designed to comfortably accommodate two families. The interior is open and filled with natural light. The main level open floor plan encompasses the kitchen, large dining table, and living room with floor to ceiling windows with views of the surrounding pines and forest. The main living area has access to a large deck with outdoor furniture, hot tub and backyard gathering area. A gas fireplace and central heating keeps the home cozy during those cold winter months.
The home has four bedrooms. The primary bedroom on the main floor has a king-size bed with an ensuite. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed with an adjacent bath. On the second level there are two brightly lit bedrooms each with their own ensuite bathroom. Both upstairs bedrooms have two twin-size trundle beds that comfortably sleep up to 4 people in each room.
The second level also includes a den, which is the media room where guests can stream or watch a classic collection of VHS tapes + DVDs. A game table is nicely set overlooking the main living space to allow and encourage seamless interaction.
The location of the property is ideal. It is within walking distance to the Trout Creek Recreation Center that includes a gym, multiple pools (lap, recreation, and kiddie) spa and sauna. There is also a children's play area and driving range. Other attractions include the Tahoe Donner Golf Course, The Lodge Restaurant and Pub, convenience store, and access to multiple hiking trails. The cabin in location 3.6 miles from the main Grocery Store and Downtown Truckee.
Tahoe Donner Amenity Access (Important info for Guests)
As a short-term tenant, you have access to Tahoe Donner's public amenities (Downhill Ski Lodge, Cross Country Ski Center, Snow play) during your stay. Access to Tahoe Donner's private amenities (Beach Club Marina, Trout Creek Recreation Center, Northwoods Pool, and the Tennis + Pickleball Center) requires a valid Short-Term Tenant Card and Daily Access Fees at the time of entry. This property includes 6 cards for use during your stay.
-One Short-Term Tenant Card is required per person, ages 3+ (per day)
-Short-Term tenants with valid Short-Term Tenant Cards must pay Daily Access Fees to enter private amenities.
-Blackout dates apply during select peak/holiday periods for private amenities, at which time, Short-Term Tenant Cards are not eligible for private amenity access. The 2026 blackout dates include:
