    Het gemeenschappelijk zwembad (op de middelbare school een mijl afstand) is het hele jaar door geopend voor baantjes zwemmen en het gemeenschapscentrum heeft een fitnessruimte met een atletiekbaan voor trainingen - slechts $ 5 drop-in kosten.

    Honden dwalen vrij rond in de bergen, maar ze zijn allemaal vrij vriendelijk en gewend aan het buitenleven, mensen en auto's. We houden onze kleine man aan de lijn, omdat hij een stadshond is.

This property is cozy and pet friendly. the fenced yard was great and allowed the dogs to play and explore. Other dogs in the neighborhood are super nice. I loved the location, too. We enjoyed skiing and relaxing in the hot tub afterwards while watching the dogs play.

Donner Bliss is a dream! It’s conveniently located near both Donner and Truckee, and stocked with everything you could need. You can tell that it’s a beloved family home, with all of its thoughtful touches. Enjoying the fire pit or hot tub under the trees and stars is a treat in particular. It was perfect for our family (including our one year old and senior pup) and we certainly had room to spare, so it’d be good for larger groups, too. Highly recommend!

Amazing

Great place! Great location- easy to get to the ski areas. There was a bit of snow during our stay but luckily they had an awesome plow service! Clean, roomy, and awesome hosts, definitely would recommend to anyone!

Snow vacation

We had a wonderful stay at Donnor Bliss. The house was great. My son loved playing in the snow on the property, and the adults loved the hot tub. Thanks for a great weekend getaway.

Wonderful location for our family adventure

We had a great stay at your property. It was a perfect size house for our family. I enjoyed coffee on the back patio every morning and the kids enjoyed a hot tub dip at the end of the day. Location was a perfect starting point for our daily adventures.

Our family had a wonderful first trip to truckee/Lake Tahoe. Cabin had everything we needed and it was in a perfect location;close to downtown truckee & Donner state park & easy trip to Tahoe. The cabin had a bunch of games, books and a great backyard with spa,bbq and gas fire pit perfect for roasting marshmallows with the kids. The host was easy to reach and responded quickly to any questions we had. I would 100% recommend this cabin and our family would love to stay here again.

Everything you would want for a snow cabin experience and more. Everything worked, there were plenty of household appliances and the fireplace pumped some heat! The neighbors were very friendly especially if you had a dog. Owner was super helpful and available. Beds were 10 out of 10 comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Perfect Cozy Setup

We really enjoyed this cabin because two families with kids had plenty of space to be comfortable. The kids bunk room was a highlight for our little boys and the fireplace and hot tub we're our favorite amenities! Location was perfect for easy access to Truckee and multiple ski resorts. We're already booked to go back again and looking forward to it!

The host was fabulous. She helped us out and we were really stuck because of the snow we couldn’t get out of the yard and we missed that but it was a wonderful wonderful stay under the circumstances.

Cozy cabin in the snow

We had a great time staying here and it had everything we needed for our family of five. The kids loved all the games that were there and the beds were comfy and warm after full day of skiing and sledding. Apres ski in the hot tub while the snow was falling was especially great. Mel was responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again!

Checks Every Box!

It's hard to find a house like this in Tahoe that provides all the amenities my family looks for, dog friendly, kid friendly, hot tub, fireplace and room for two families! We feel so fortunate to have found this gem and continue to re book with Mel because she is an excellent host and we think this is a perfect property!!

Loved it

Loved the place, hot tub and fire pit was used each night. I also took advantage of the hammock. My husband loves to mountain bike ride so he did that each day. Took our bikes to the Truckee River and rode to Sunnyside . Beautiful ride. Yes we would rent this place again for sure.

Cozy Cabin

Nice layout of rooms Clean Quiet neighborhood. Close to everything. We loved our stay. We did alert the owner that the surface of bathroom tub was very slippery. It was very easy to fall when wet and soapy. Use with caution or use a tub mat. That being said, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Donner Lake is the place to be, and this place was terrific.

Perfect family cabin

We loved the cabin! Warm cozy and clean inside. Perfect for our family of 5. The kids bunk room had a fun array of games for our teens. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The hot tub was a great spot to relax after skiing! We really enjoyed snowshoeing and cross country skiing around Donner Lake Stare Park- just across the main road from the neighborhood that the cabin is in. Mel was so communicative and answered all my questions before and during our trip. Check in and out were easy!

Magical snow escape

We had a wonderful time at Donner Bliss. We came to show our 4-year-old snow for the first time and she had a ball. We loved frolicking in the snowy woods and sledding in the neighborhood, tubing at Soda Springs and making s’mores by the cozy fire. The house is lovely; very comfortable, clean, and roomy. There is a really cute kids’ bedroom with a piano and a variety of games. The neighborhood is beautiful and very convenient to downtown. We would absolutely come back. I have to say the host was great in thier communication. The roads were closed on our original date so the host was kind enough to move our date to the right for no extra charge. We were only staying for one night after a day of snow tubing, for us the main amenity was the hot tub , mainly for our 6 year old daughter who had never got to experience one. Unfortunately, the hot tub looks like it was never even prepped for the winter. There was mold everywhere and the water was so cloudy and murky. Not fit for humans, it ruined the overnight stay. While the host refunded the cleaning fees, I would have gladly paid for my daughtwr to have the experiencewe set out for .

Amazing Cabin

We took are first family vacation with my niece. 5 adults, 1 kid and 2 dogs. It was a packed house but big enough that we had our space. I love that it had two backyard decl and one front porch. Super spacious. The neighbors were super friendly and so were their four legged fur babies. Mel was super nice and helpful. Always communicating. I would rent this again for another family vacation.

This was a wonderful home for a vacation with dogs. Great location and fully appointed.

My husband and I spent the month of August at Bliss Cabin with our two golden retrievers, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our goal was to escape the desert heat, and our mission was accomplished. The location is great; so close to Donner Lake, Downtown Truckee and an easy drive to Lake Tahoe. Our dogs loved the fenced backyard, and there was plenty of room to stay comfortably for an extended period. From nice, thick towels to super comfortable beds, we had no complaints about anything. We truly had all the comforts of home. I wouldn't think twice about staying here again. Thanks, Melanie!
