'If you are a pet owner this property is listed as pet friendly but is really almost pet friendly. We had a three day drive to Cedar Rapids and 11 hours before we arrived we received an email with an extensive list of pet rules. Most were reasonable except the one that said pets shall not be left unattended at the property which basically means you cannot leave the property without taking your pet with you. We were told this was to keep noise down and for the safety of the pet. We explained to...

'Iowa football weekend with Iowa students and family was a hit. A cool house on a hot day was welcome. There was plenty of space upstairs and down for both gathering and spreading out. The house was well decorated but a bit of outdoor caretaking would make it more attractive. With lots of other options, maybe we secured it a bit too soon. A splurge for sure but more comparison shopping next time for us. Go Iowa!'
