« Great, pretty new place between Elkin and Sparta. About 10 minutes from Stone Mountain State Park. Quiet little road. Is on property with two permanent residences that are fairly close. So, it's fairly private but not secluded. Great for one or two, but not three people or a family unless it's a baby. Central AC and ceiling fans were great for an unusually hot weekend. Definitely recommend this place. Bring coffee filters (bucket type, not cone) and condiments. There are grocery stores in...

« The ladder to the bedroom is very dangerous. I anticipated VRBO would place a strong interest in the safety of guests. Either the access to the 2nd floor is an oversight or safety isn't a core principle of VRBO. The outdoor setting is amazing however, the furniture is stained, unraveling and the cushions have lost all support and comfort. »

« Overall, the property was quite nice! We wished the hot water lasted a bit longer and that the curtains kept the rooms a bit darker but overall, it was nice. If you’re looking for a good spot to set up while you tour wineries in the area, this is a great choice! »

« Lisa's place was excellent! The check in process was easy. Lisa communicated quickly. And the place was amazing! Wished we could have stayed longer. The interior was clean, furnishings comfortable and the front porch was peaceful to sit on and listen to the nearby creek. It was a.short drive to our favorite area Elkin and close to Stone Mountain and Pilot Mountain. Would highly recommend for relaxing/ peaceful getaway. »
