'This little cottage was great. Well equipped (but the toaster is struggling a bit). Stunning views, great outside shower, a double hammock and lots of kayaks for a morning paddle with the loons. Life at Lake Opinicon at its finest.'

The cottage interior is incredibly clean, nicely decorated and remodeled with thoughtful amenities including onsite laundry and an exceptionally well stocked pantry for guests to use. 'Great hosts and location make this place. Excellent communication and easy check in from the start made us feel welcome. The house was built in 1863 but has been updated for all the modern amenities. Very clean and comfortable. The outdoor deck and fire pit area offer a great view of the bay and Boldt castle. Docks are well kept and protected from wind and traffic, easy in and out. '

'My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean and very well stocked, it was very quiet and relaxing. The sunsets were spectacular! Carol and Pete were very friendly and had a bottle of wine, eggs and 1/2 and 1/2 for our coffee. Definitely I would go back! '

'The cottage was perfectly located half way between Montreal and Toronto so that all families could meet up for a birthday party! The weather was rainy, but the lake was warm so it didn't stop anyone from jumping in for most of the time! The cottage was well-equipped so everyone could sleep comfortably and eat all together! The property manager was communicative and accommodating to our needs and would highly recommend this location for a short or long term stay!'

'Beautiful home on the St Lawrence River. Amazing huge deck to view the loons, swans, ducks & geese. 5 bedrooms & 2 baths were perfect for my family of 8 people with a long dining table so we could all sit down together. Owner was very responsive for extra water and trash removal. Close to lots of activities including an Alpaca farm! '
