'Chateau is beautiful and in a very peaceful spot. I would describe it as 'shabby chic' as there are areas where money could be spent. However it is lovely and features such as the sweeping staircase, chandelier's and furniture look gorgeous. Town is only 4 miles away with a range of restaurants. Continental breakfast was great and plentiful. Only met 1 member of staff at breakfast but she was lovely and gave us some of the history of the chateau. 'Na een lange reis kwamen we aan in een prachtig kasteel maar een drankje drinken is niet mogelijk. Ze hadden geen faciliteit voor bar of lounge wel genoemd bij de boeking van het chateau. Geen koelkastje op de kamer wel twee flesjes water. Buiten zitten kan wel als je de kussens op de stoelen legt maar een gezellig plekje in de schaduw aLs het zo warm is was er niet gemaakt. De gastvrouw legde uit dat hun chateau valt onder bed en breakfast. En dat ze geen vergunning hebben om een glasje wijn...
