Mario and Blanco were fantastic hosts from helping us during our very late arrivals, to a wonderful breakfast each morning, helping us with suggestions on where to go in Old Town, making our dinner reservation & transport to the airport. 'This was our first time in Ecuador, and we spent two nights at Hotel Casa Ecuatreasures. The building itself is beautiful—full of charm, stunning architecture, and lovely decor—right in the heart of the historic district. Our room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and felt safe and secure. What truly made our visit special was Hernan. His hospitality exceeded our expectations. He offered us personalized day and night tours at a very reasonable price, and we felt incredibly lucky...

'The property feels safer than any I’ve been it. The interior design is upbeat and unlike your average hotel. Great bedding, great tree top view allowed us to be entertained by mourning doves and hummingbirds. The breakfast was average for this area: eggs, fruit, fruit juice with or without sugar. In house roasted coffee. The manager and staff were efficient and friendly. We particularly liked Fernanda, the woman who served us breakfast on day one off three.'
