'This house felt like a real home, was so well equipped, beautifully decorated and comfortable. We had everything we needed provided for us, and there was even a bottle of milk in the fridge waiting for us. The beds are really comfortable, as are the sofas, and the bathroom and kitchen are fab! We’re definitely coming back!'

'Parking was easy. Comfortable walk to hooton train station. Staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. Food is excellent especially Cajun wedges. Rooms are basic but ask the staff for fridge, hairdryer etc and they’ll provide. Place was quiet. They had a large function with over 100 people Saturday night and no impact to us. 'The premises is dated and very basic but suited my last minute plans. Not the cleanest in terms of the shower room and very noisy as doors slamming in the tiny joint/communal room access area immediately outside my door awoke me. Don’t rely on the buses nearby as I waited almost an hour for a bus to the city centre and gave up in the end. No shops nearby. If you require any get it before you arrive. 'For cheap hotels & convenience of location from the coach station, I really didn’t have anything notable to complain about. Lift wasn’t working but we were notified. Room was small but clean and had what we needed for our nights stay. Only gripe we had is the tap/sink had a design flaw because if you turn it on max straight away, which is easily done, you get splashed. Otherwise 0 complaints for our expectations. Staff are friendly, especially the cleaner the following morning! Would book again...

'I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I booked it for its reasonable price but it far exceeded expectations. We were visiting family in chester over Christmas, and there were no hotels available in the city centre, although this was a little far out the drive was very easy and quick parking was good and the hotel was clean and friendly. I would definitely stay again and recommend it to others.'

'Nice hotel in convenient location for local villages and A55. Bar and restaurant area have been refurbished to a high standard, with good food and drink offer. Staff very welcoming and professional. Rooms are in the process of being updated, ours (no 8) was clean with a lovely view. Fridge in room, also which was helpful. Plenty of off road parking. I'd recommend for a short stay. '

'Half the breakfast menu costs extra, the porridge was like tepid mortar, the continental had sliced white and brown bread only, no bread buns, room 207 was baking hot with no way to cool it, the old leaded windows are characterful but completely warped and can't be closed, half the payment terminals didn't work, and the staff were friendly but inefficient.'
