'We were very happy with our stay at Linden Row. Parking is a block away for $10. The property, especially the rooms show their age. However, our room was decorated in a way that reminded us of the old South, specifically old Charleston. The bed was very comfy and the AC worked great. Coffee in the lobby was good. Breakfast on the property is ordered then brought to your room. The highlight is sweet Annabelle… the sweetest kitty on earth! We would definitely stay there again.'

'This was my first time at the Moxy. It's for those who cringe at the bland cookie-cutter hotels. This hotel encourages interaction among guests and has games and communal seating spaces galore.'

'During my one-week stay I had several problems with my key access to my room. I paid ahead of time for the full week my room access card would not work on at least 5 occasions. Each time I had to go to the office to have my keycard "fixed", and had to wait in line behind other guests who were signing in to even talk to the counter person. The Motel seems to be understaffed. Having said that, the room was clean,; and otherwise adequate for my needs. My phone didn't work for my entire stay, I was...

'Perhaps this is a more general hotel thing cutting corners and not including stuff that used to be standard but there is basically no housekeeping. They change towels (no fresh linens, no cleaning) every other day. Literally we got new towels and a roll of toilet paper. Supposedly if you stay a week they clean the room. I’m sure it saves them a ton of money but the savings sure don’t seem to be passed on to the customer. We could have used the floor vacuumed but not gonna happen! There...

'Be sure to lower your standards. Room looked like a crime scene. I don't even want to know how many people overdosed in that bed. Dirty, in disrepair, COCKROACHES IN THE MICROWAVE! We didn't even stay. Checked out within 20 minutes and got another room elsewhere and immediately took a shower. Just skip this place'

'The bad: bathroom tub and toilet lid had all the paint cracking off. Also not very clean. I put a towel down to shower. The bed was ok. The floor was sticky. The sliding door window from the floor level was NOT locked so that was concerning. A whole person fits through those windows from the back parking lot. The good: the fridge was a decent size and it has a microwave. Ice was located nearby. Property was easy to locate. The front desk was nice. Overall not great but if its just for one...
