'I got stuck in Charlotte when my flight was canceled and needed a nearby hotel to get some sleep and a shower. I chose an airport hotel with airport shuttle service so that I could quickly get to the hotel (it was already pretty late at night) and then back to the airport first thing in the morning. I called for the shuttle when I arrived at the shuttle station and was told it would be 10-15 minutes. After 20 minutes I called and was told that they did not know where the driver was. 'Het zwembad was dicht, er was geen shuttle naar het vliegveld en er was niets in de buurt. De man achter de balie vertelde me waar ik een bushalte kon vinden maar om daar te komen moest ik een snelweg oversteken. Ik was dus aangewezen op uber taxi's. Het slot van mijn deur viel bijna uit de muur dus eigenlijk kon iedereen zo binnenkomen'

'The whole place smelled like weed, and there were a lot of sketchy people around. We didn’t feel safe. The room seemed clean, but not in the best shape. The refrigerator/freezer was dirty. Some damaged spots on the walls. The bathtub was not in good shape. There was no hair dryer. It was one of the worst places I have ever stayed, if not the worst.'
