« Our room was clean and our beds were comfortable. (Nice to have hot water immediately in the bathroom, too.) Being located near two busy roads, the noise level was a little louder than other places where we've stayed; but, our sound machine came in handy and muffled the outside traffic. The staff was delightful, very helpful, and supportive. Breakfast was good; similar to most other hotel buffets. We also appreciated the security feature using the elevator. We did help a couple of guests...

« I stayed for 1 night but I felt like home and I want to say that the whole team is super welcoming! I would definitely come back everytime I travel around »

« Customer service was great. The rooms/bathrooms were the cleanest in most hotels I have stayed in. I would definitely stay again. »

« Great to see the renaissance of downtown Gastonia. The Esquire is a cornerstone of the surge. When we were looking for lodging in the area, we saw the Esquire and we were delighted to see the old bank and lawyers’ building converted. The staff was amazing. The restaurant sources from all locally owned farms and suppliers. The rabbit gnocchi was life-changing. I wish I could rate higher than all 5s. Thank you Esquire- we will be back soon!!!!! »
