'It was such an inexpensive place that it is really impossible to give anything but high marks. We only stayed a few hours before leaving after mid night to catch our flight. I can not give 5 stars because of the horrible check in system. My husband, myself, our driver stood in front of the building with no idea which gate we are supposed to go in. We kept ringing the bell next to the gate. After a few minutes we saw that the gate was unlocked. So, we went inside the yard. There are two doors....

'Pros: Good location, close to Telefonica and walkable to tourist areas. Rooms were clean with comfortable beds, hot showers and heating. The hotel is modern. On the cons: the drains smelled a little in the bathroom, breakfast doesn’t begin until 7am which is too late for any day tours which all depart earlier than this (I stayed 3 nights and not once got to enjoy the breakfast I paid for), they do offer a breakfast bag to go but it is very basic. Also no free tea and coffee - most other hotels...

'Rampzalig.

'Very humble, respectful, serviceful and helpful staff. One of the best breakfast I have ever had. Their bread is delicious and the juices exceptional. I would definitely stay at this place again!!'

'Great location, big clean room with a lovely hot shower. Breakfast was ok. Only negative was that i feel the hotel overcharged us when we asked them if they could book a taxi for us to the airport.'

'Fantastic boutique hotel in a good location in the city.'

'Large room and bathroom, with a hot shower, if you have patience. Decent breakfast, and I was allowed into the room early. However, internet is very slow, and the hotel is difficult to find for taxi drivers. There are quite a few stairs to get to the reception.'

Alles is goed schoon.

'O hostel é muito arrumadinho e agradável. Ótimo para viajantes solo ou com amigos. E o bar é maravilhoso.'

'Excellent stay. Helpful and supportive staff. Very efficient check-in.'

'Great hotel, next to the witch market. Do not expect a 5 star hotel with a lot of luxury but it had everything we needed. Good breakfast - great location and you can book your tours at the reception and change currency at the hotel'

'Exelent location, clean rooms'

'Very close to all the shopping and restaurants. The property itself is historic and beautiful'
