'This is probably the best hotel to stay in La Paz if you are a tourist. It's close to markets, restaurants and cafes. The banks, cambios and tour agencies are also nearby. The hotel is also the main pick-up and drop-off point for the daily tours. The hotel is clean and well maintained. '

'Casa Grande ligt in het rustige gedeelte van La Paz. In de omgeving heb je leuke winkeltjes en restaurantjes. Je moet echt gaan naar Gustu, een restaurant met alleen Boliviaanse gerechten, lekkere wijn, top! Hardrock cafe is ook een aanrader en deze zit in het winkelcentrum dus kan je ook nog even shoppen. In principe zit alles op loopafstand maar je kan natuurlijk ook een taxi nemen die goed betaalbaar zijn. In het toeristen gedeelte (Sagarnaga street) heb je nog het steakhouse waar je ook...

'This does not pretend to be nor is it a normal hotel. This place is the only game in town when you have a 3:20am departure and you want to make sure you are sleeping at the airport. It did the job for us. It is very Spartan, and they make no claim to be anything else. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We are glad we elected to stay here. At least we got 5 hours sleep before our ridiculously early departure for Bogota.'

'We had a great room, very comfortabel with a good bed. comfortabel chairs, a little table and a clean bathroom with hot water. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. One girl spoke very good English. Despite a heater, it was sometimes cold in the room. But we had enough blankets.'

'I spent weeks here. I stayed in the room with a private bathroom. The bed is comfortable and worm. The shower is electric shower, but works surprisingly well. The wifi is fast and steady. The host is very friendly. It’s pretty close to the bus terminal, but a bit far from downtown.'
